What the Moon is doing in a chart
The Sun describes how a person acts on purpose. The Moon describes what lets them settle when nobody is watching. It covers comfort, recovery, and what must be true before they can relax. Many people recognise themselves here faster than they do through their Sun sign.
Between two people, the Moon describes whether shared quiet feels restful or effortful. Two people can love each other while finding that an ordinary evening together takes work.
Reading two Moons together
Start with element. Two water Moons or two earth Moons often settle together easily because their needs take a similar shape. Fire with air moves quickly. Water with fire, or earth with air, can still work well. Those pairs usually need to arrange rest rather than assume it.
Then look at how the two Moons meet. Some positions create familiarity, while others repeat the same friction when both people are tired. Close Moons can bring ease and sameness. Opposing Moons can show two people who each carry what the other lacks.
What a Moon reading cannot tell you
The Moon moves through a sign in about two and a half days, so on some birth dates it changes sign during the day. Without a birth time, the sign is uncertain on those dates, and an honest reading says so instead of picking one. Aster names the Moon only when it stayed in one sign all day.
A Moon reading also says nothing about how another person feels about you. It describes what runs between two charts. The feeling is theirs to tell you.
