What Aster collects

Your email address for sign-in, delivery, and account support.

The names, relationship types, birth dates, birth times, and birth places you choose to provide for yourself and other people.

Your purchases, subscription status, delivery history, unsubscribe choices, and reading feedback.

Basic site and message activity needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.

How the information is used

To calculate charts and relationship patterns, write the readings you request, deliver letters, keep private links available, process payments, prevent misuse, and answer support requests.

Aster does not sell personal information. Birth details and private readings are not used to train writing models.

Other people's birth details

You may add birth details for someone you know. Use information you are entitled to provide. Aster uses it only to create and maintain the readings and letters you request.

The other person does not receive your private reading or account information. They see their side only when you choose to send it.

Services that help Aster operate

Aster uses service providers for secure data storage, chart and reading production, email delivery, payment processing, site hosting, and product analytics. On the website, anonymous session recordings help us see where pages are hard to use. They never include what you type into forms. Providers receive only the information needed to perform their service.

Payment card details are handled by Stripe. Aster receives payment status and related purchase records, not your full card number.

Private links and email

Purchased readings and shared sides use private links. Anyone who has a private link may be able to open it, so treat it like a personal letter.

Every ongoing letter includes an unsubscribe link. Delivery providers may report sends, deliveries, bounces, and complaints so Aster can stop unwanted or undeliverable mail.

Retention and deletion

Aster keeps account and reading data while your account is active or while needed to provide a purchase, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent fraud.

You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Deleting a person removes that person's stored details from your account. Deleting your account removes the people you added, subject to records Aster must retain for legal or payment purposes.

Security and children

Aster uses access controls and encryption intended to protect personal information. No online service can promise absolute security.

Aster is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information as account holders.
