Why Aster uses two systems
Western astrology describes who a person is. BaZi describes their season. A pair needs both.
What each one is good at
A Western chart is detailed about temperament: how someone talks, what calms them, how they show care, where they dig in. It is the best tool we know for the texture of a relationship.
BaZi is detailed about timing and balance: what a person needs more of, what they have too much of, and which ten-year chapter they are living through. It explains why the same person can feel different at 28 and at 38.
Kept separate on purpose
Aster does not blend the two into one score. It reads each system on its own terms, then writes where they agree and says so when they do not. Agreement between two independent methods is worth more than either alone.
Why it matters to you
Most friction between two people is a mix of character and timing. One of you talks fast; one of you is in a demanding chapter. A reading that sees only one of those will blame the wrong thing. Seeing both gives you a fairer account of the other person, and of yourself.
